Facebook Marketplace

Facebook Marketplace’s 250 million user base in North America offers dealers a vast, ready-to-purchase audience. However, recent changes have made manual posting more challenging.

Listing your products manually on Facebook is not only time consuming but difficult to do. Our Facebook Marketplace Auto-poster automates posting and responding, combining software and human support to save time and generate more leads efficiently.

Facebook Marketplace

For the process of how we post on marketplace:

  1. Dealer signs up and sets up their FBMP account setting/preferences
  2. Dealers inventory is imported to their account from Turnkey.
  3. Turnkey will gain access to dealer's FB account through their credentials and 2FA codes
  4. Turnkey will connect and login to dealers FB account via a virtual machine (cloud based)
  5. Auto-post software will validate the vehicles (meeting the min requirements) then generate the listings to FBMP
  6. Auto-post software will auto renew, repost and delete listing based on the account preferences.

Ad Wording Updates:

Ad wording changes should be made through their IMS (Inventory Management System). Once our system receives a feed with updated information, the ad on Facebook is refreshed. Updates are processed in batches of three, with each batch typically taking no more than 10 minutes to appear on Facebook.

Managing Leads & Messaging:

The Facebook Marketplace (FBMP) section is separate from personal messages, so we do not have access to any personal Facebook messages. Only leads that come through the business page or FBMP are accessible, and multiple reps can manage those leads as long as they have access to the connected business page.

Pricing Changes:

Like other updates, pricing changes are also handled in batches of three. Once the new pricing is received in the feed, it takes a maximum of 10 minutes per batch to reflect on Facebook.

Sold Vehicles:

Ads are removed once the vehicle no longer appears in the feed we receive. This usually happens within an hour of the feed update. At this time, we do not support a “Pending” status—vehicles are simply removed once marked as sold.
